Elena began writing historical romances during her lunch breaks at a very modern, very quiet office job. She wanted to escape into a world of grand ballrooms, witty banter, and stolen kisses, and she hopes her books offer that exact same comforting escape to her readers.

When she isn't daydreaming about the nineteenth century, Elena is usually drinking too much Earl Grey tea, rewatching her favorite period dramas, or attempting to bake the perfect scone. She can often be found curled up in a sunny window seat with a good book, closely supervised by a very demanding elderly cat named Thistle.
